Sad Announcment

It is with deep sadness we announce the recent death of Linda the proprietor and driving force behind Cosy Wren. She lost her 12-year battle with cancer on the 4th of August 2024.

The family and friends would like to thank all the staff at The Christies and Macclesfield General Hospital for doing their outmost and best for Linda over the years. My special thanks go to the staff on Ward 11 who did everything they could to make her final hours with her family as comfortable.

We would also like to thank everyone over the years who helped make her childhood dream of having her own little shop to play in come true by enjoying the cosy little nest she built for herself in the Macclesfield Grosvenor Centre. Even if they did occasionally  annoy her by keeping on buying the goods from her just finished  lovely displays.
